I do love candles, in particular Skandinavisk candles. Excitingly, this summer they invited me to an intimate garden party to celebrate the launch of their new ESCAPES collection. Fitting with the Scandinavian’s summer fleet to escape (generally for 3 weeks in their case), I jetted off to Copenhagen to discover more about these candles and enjoy an evening in a perfect rose garden.
I confess. I’m not a fan of roses, in fact I would tend to grimace each time I see them in the shops for valentines day. AND yes I was flown out to Copenhagen to see a rose garden……. but I had faith that there was more too this rose garden than my assumed red rose cliché. After all this is in Copenhagen where it’s known for style, thoughtful design and practicality.
