Rare and highly collectable sideboard designed in Italy by Umberto Mascagni of Bologna. Cabinet sideboard having four doors and four drawers from the 1950s, two shelves adjustable you can remove all shelves if you need more space, All the doors have working locks and keys, was realized with back-stained glass doors, four doors with a woman walking down the stairs. The main body structure is made of solid European wood and is very heavy. This piece features a green colored vinyl with anodized aluminum. The exterior of the wardrobe are lined with faux cream ‘lizard skin’ leather and with patterned grey vinyl interior. Even the legs are cream colored vinyl, Very attractive, very capacious furniture, excellent vintage condition! This extravagant belief or bar cabinet is an interesting example of midcentury Italian design. In 1952 Umberto Mascagni created a new way of producing furniture using new materials such as PVC and anodized aluminum. This was provocative considering the market at that time.
